Or rebuilt the Clearview/LIE interchange to have two lane ramps from south to east and west to north and have the Clearview and the LIE east of there be I-195. The LIE west of there can be I-395. After a few years, rename I-278 to I-495. I-678 can be I-595. Even better would be to extend I-80 to Riverhead. The remainder of the LIE can be I-180, and I-678 can become I-380, with I-278 becoming I-480. |
