What you call personal observation is what the rest of the world calls foaming. You can recite every serial number in the NYC fleet.What I call personal observation is seeing what people do, want to do and can or cannot do in the subway and in the stations. You have no interest in this, and neither does Lincoln. It doesn't matter to you. But being called on it does matter to you. It hurts your feelings to not be taken seriously on anything but the foaming and photography (I've always liked your photography). If I pretend that you're right on every question that comes up, it will probably make you feel better. Since that's what you want, that's what I'll do. It means you won't learn anything, but you're not interested in that anyway. You just like tobe told that you're right. Lincoln likes that too. If that's all you can handle, so be it. |
