I am thrilled with this development. I like to see the MTA act responsibly, which is not something that we always get to see. I also like that the property - one of the choicest empty lots in Manhattan - will stay on the tax rolls. It also means that the MTA just might be able to get a developer to pay for an atrium, and recoup some of the money that has been outlaid.Can you imagine how much money might possibly have been wasted? |
