Everyone was not afraid of a dark car. If enough people were in it, it was safe and a fun ride. I can still recall rocketing up CPW on a dark R42 D train in 1986. The tunnel lighting went by so fast that a strobe effect was established. Must've been even funkier if you were hepped up on goofballs. |
