For some reason, while they plan to build the connection, they do not plan to run regular service through it.My guess is that the MTA was able to get federal approval for the project without committing to SAS/QB service, so they did so to manage expectations. If they commit to the service during the funding review process, they have to provide the service. They are better off getting the SAS built and working, and then figure out how they can provide additional QB service from the SAS. |
