Actually:Having grown up in the area I would be proposing for the stop, if anything that is one area where you are more likely to have YIMBY's than NIMBY's, maninly because even with the SAS, it's still going to be quite a walk to 72nd/2nd or 83rd/2nd when that opens or as it is now to 77th/Lex. A lot of people who live there would probably put it with the inconvience if it meant a stop on 76th or 79th and York-1st Avenues. Many people there don't drive because of all the congestion, and it would be a huge deal to have a subway stop there. |
