The R-16s were on their way out, anyway, so you knew they wouldn't get much attention. My NY Times clipping on the requiem for 6321 summed it up pretty well. By the mid-80s, they actually started doing something about older cars that failed repeatedly, up to and including getting rid of them. 6321 fell into that category.
