PHOTOS: Misc. Amtrak and Freight Trains

Here are some photos that I just put onto my website, dating back to mid-August. Most of them were taken on my Cross Country Amtrak trip this summer.

Shelby, MT:





Portland, OR:









The Cascades train photos were taken the day before they were pulled from service. The last southbound from Portland to Eugene that afternoon had been cancelled with no replacement service offered. Luckily, my northbound train from Portland to Seattle ran as scheduled and actually arrived one minute early at Seattle King Street Station. The trains are now back in service.
