I wonder if the following would be permitted. Let's say someone connected with transit either as an employee, passenger or railfan passes away. To honor the person's love of the subway, their family wants to give them one last subway ride before the person reaches his final destination (assuming you don't believe in an after-life). So they stop the funeral entourage near a major terminal, take the casket out of the hearse and give the enthusiast one last ride on his favorite line. Would there be any problems with the MTA? For those who believe in after-life, are there subways there? |
