Elder Avenue isn't as busy or tight as a Hunts Point or Soundview strip.They'll probably put the crane by Evergreen Avenue and lift it up from there...and prevent northbound traffic north of Westchester Avenue on Evergreen Ave...I don't think it should be that big of a problem. But if they're going to use Elder, why not consider Whitlock since the height at the southbound end of the platform? I know there is a lot of commercial traffic to Hunts Point, but it could be done nonetheless. |
