That sounds like redistribution. You're talking about things that you get paid from someone else. Someone pays you make a website, or someone pays you to work on an assembly line.I don't think that's wealth creation. And I don't think you get rich from this(didn't I post this somewhere today?). OTOH, the rich guys, though not all of them, have gotten money from wealth creation right? I buy a stock, it goes up 300%, that money feels like magic. Land, houses, selling a corporation, etc. I'm not an econ major, but this has been my observation of the world. Or maybe you're discussing microeconomics that you gained wealth, whereas I'm talking about macroeconomics of the total value of a region or worlds worth which was just getting moved around. |
