Ok, so if it's not the tracks, then it's the curve. Steve says you only hit 30-30MPH. My point is that the Crown Ave tunnel in Scranton is a mile of straightaway, down hill in one direction, with good track, and would most certainly allow you to "max out" your Arnine or Low-V. And most of the rest of the line through the countryside has gentle curves that I think could be taken at at least 40MPH by a subway car. |
