That's what I'd like to know.Also. when Lee Sander was chosen last December to to be the Executive Director of the MTA, a position formerly held by Katherine Lapp, didn't the press say that the jobs of Chairman and Executive Director would be combined? I thought Kalikow only wanted to stay until May so he could take credit for the groundbreaking of the Second Avenue Subway, and when he left, Sander would assume the Chairman's duties. Then several months ago there was talk of choosing a new chairman which I didn't understand because I thought one was already chosen. Am I the only one who had this impression? |
