The old LIRR diesels and coaches had some life left in them....this is former LIRR F9A #619....in it's new life on the Seminole Gulf Railroad in Florida:



Here's a photo I took of my old friend #619 (which was the one oddball F unit they had, it was a little larger than the rest of the F's). 619 looks sharp now, but Sniff, sniff, this was in Patchogue, before they ruined the LIRR with high level platforms. I don't care, the LIRR was better before 1998..... This was taken around 1993.
