Why don't they eliminate the side number bullet sign with a large square LED display anyway. The dedicated cars are already wired for it. And in the front, keep the roll sign but install a longer LED display underneath the rollsign. the glass is already blacked out so there is room for something.I guess the early MTA wasn't thinking in 1968 when the R-40Ms were the first rolling stock not to have EXP - LOCAL signs on the front.
