The R-44 and R-46 has a Luminator Sign Panel which controls the LCD side signs, exactly as you'd see on a bus. (The panel, not the signs.)The R-32 has a knob with a pointer. Simply turn the knob so it points at the correct letter, number, or symbol, and that's what will be displayed on the end sign of that car. The R-38 has an electronic sign panel, which is controlled by small thumb wheels. Each wheel has a number. You "input" a number using the thumb wheels, and a letter will be displayed on the end route sign which corresponds to that number. It's in alphabetical/numerical order. Therefore, if an R-38 is on the (A), you input #01. If it's on the (C), you input #03. |
