Course one has to wonder if NYCTA will even bother saving any of the R44s for the Museum fleet. Why bother with a car so restricted in operations? Perhaps they'll store a pair of each in non-operational status.Then you could add yet another retired subway car which has been shut out of MOD trips while it's contemporaries haul railfans around the city. We'll all be riding around on the Division C train you just mentioned, while the frames of the R44's and R46's decay in the musuem. Chris R16/R2730/R44? |
