Dude..the 160s comming to the NYCT have NOTHING to do with what runs on STATEN ISLAND...Thats not a NYCT issue.... It's an MTA....and FRA issue... Thats WHY I say,it would be BETTER if the LIRR M1 cars were GOH..and placed in service on SIRT... And I mean..GOH..DOWN TO THE BARE METAL... The SIRTOA is actually a subsidiary of the NYCTA, so it is an NYCTA problem. I believe that the R160 order is meant to replace all R44's INCLUDING R44SI's. |
