While the service pattern might not normally have taken Pelham 1-2-3 to South Ferry, the route and events depicted in the book and movie were very plausible and the TA could have routed a train in that manner for any number of valid reasons (and could still do it today). Since this is fiction, at the very worst the screen writer need only imagine some "GO" in effect.My point is that this detail hardly requires the kind of "suspension of disbelief" you have to accept with many thriller movies. |
