I was curious after reading your post, so I looked him up on Wikipedia. He was born and raised in NJ and it appears his entire public and private career has been in NJ, with the exception of his distnguished service in the USAAF in WWII. And he's not mentioned anywhere in the "bible" of NYC History, The Encyclopedia of New York City. So if anyone can shed some light on this . . . |
