Yes, we did have (TARS) street cars in the Bronx. They exited the scene in 1950-51. However, TARS in Westchester County countinued for a couple more years. A Bronx connection at 238th St and White Plains Road was the last street car line in the Bronx. That trolley junction in the 1916 image is the White Plains Road Line connecting with the Webster Ave Line via Gun Hill Road. PCCs never ran on the TARS.
