Actually...no, just about 100% of Long Island's freight goes right through there.Here's a photo of the place from back in the local service days, when you could still walk on the platform, as it was an active (although rarely used) station.... Here it is around 1990, this is before any of the stations had signs. They only put signs up at all of them around 1993 or so, after an absense of many many years of none of them having a sign: Here is a view from the street.
