While I believe the V train provides a useful option to people who are sick of the overcrowded E and F trains, I believe the best solution to the overcrowded conditions is the Super Express. Unfortunately, the dumb ass-NIMBYs who fought tooth and nail to keep the MTA from building the Super Express tracks in the late '60s and early '80s made sure that Queens Blvd trains will remain overcrowded for decades to come. Even more unfortunate is that we will not see the Super Express tracks built because the MTA does not have the money to build them now. |
