Since it isn't feasible for PATH to have all of that...Why isn't it feasible for PATH to have "bomb sniffing dogs and federal marshals"? ...they have their stringent photo policy And how does not allowing photography mitigate not having "bomb sniffing dogs and federal marshals"? In case you didn't know, you don't need photographs of something to commit a terrorist act. You can use your EYES. Also, in case you didn't know, terrorists don't go around openly taking photos with large cameras, because they don't want to get stopped and questioned and risk raising suspicions. So if they were to take photos, they would do it in a very clandestine manner. As such, the only people affect by the PATH photography ban are the non-terrorists. The terrorists can still take all the photos they want because they won't be caught. Yes it sucks for railfans It sucks for more than just railfans. if it prevents a terrorist attack then it's worth it. As I just explained, there is no possible way this photo ban would ever "prevent" a terrorist attack. |
