Why not?I'm an IT guy during the day and a Latin Dancer(NY club style Salsa, Cha-Cha, Merengue, Bachata) at night and on weekends. You sound as if you would fit right in.. Nah, I'm a little too independent for that. I just like to expand my knowledge about many different things. So it might appear that I would fit in but I probably wouldn't. You have missed you're calling,dude. My calling is IT. I have been known to diagnose computer problems by touching the case(seriously :) and the dancing balances my personality. I would love to work for them[Dept of Buses]..but I like my job. I get around..travel from state to state. I took the Open Competitive T/O exam while I was still deciding but I decided that I didn't want the responsibility of several tons of steel and thousands of people. So I get to feed the wanderer in me and feed my hobby at the same time..LOL.! Computers are also one of my hobbies, so I get to practice it daily. I've got a nice tour lined up this week,too. I get to go to Atlanta..then to Miami. That's cool. I don't do much traveling, but my boss had been talking about sending me to Brazil and London for a few days each to check out the equipment. |
