I have ridden the E train on weekends when I go to Belmont Park, taking such to Jamaica Center to get the Q110 Bus to Belmont, and it is anything BUT empty, especially in Queens. You really do need the E to be an express when possible, with the R and V being the locals.I would make the V 24/7 myself, especially if you extend it in some form to Brooklyn (whether it be over the Williamsburg Bridge with the J/M/Z or via Rutgers with the F or switching with the C at West 4th and having the V go to Euclid with the A). That would make it very worthwhile. |
