Maybe I got it confused. I knew it was a connection from Staten Island to Brooklyn and assumed it was going to connect to the BMT. It was along time ago and I didn't know then the things I know now.What was the story about the tunnel at 66 Ave between Queens Blvd and the LIRR? It sounds like there was a near connection to the LIRR Rockaway Beach Branch at Whitepot Junction. |
