That train was on 3 Block at Utica in the back where any peion artist can get to it since the Best Cleaning barn is East 180 Street it should have been taken out of service and sent to the Yard ASAP.It wasnt you think we like operating a tagged train like that? Train Operators who SEE a train tagged like that in a yard(in this case it wasnt in a Yard).You cant see all around the train at 3 block at Utica i know i have done Put-Ins from there myself. You report it and IF the Dispt says STAY IN SERVICE you stay in service period. ABD's like this(serious vandalism) are the Line Supt's call if they say keep it moving so be it end of story we do as we are told down here, saftey first of coruse. "Lazy Train Operators" have Nothing to do with taking a tagged train Uptown, more like Supt's not wanting ABD's for Line Preformance, beacuse even Dispt's have to get a OK for a Train to be Double-O-Sixed when it comes to that. So next time you see a train like remember my post beacuse this wasnt the frist and im sure it wont be the last time a train like that will be in Service. Write a Letter send a email to the Line Supt and take your beef with them posting it here on this site wont do a darn thing.. For the record i have seen trains tagged in Yards and bagned it in myself, beacuse its my job. Im sure if that train was in a yard the T/O banged it in as well.. Did that matter?? |
