That's easy to say when it happens to somebody else. If you were detained for three hours after work, you probably wouldn't dismiss it with a casual: "Well, if it were at work, I'd be upset because that's how I make a living, but since I only lost my free time, it doesn't matter." You still have the right to do whatever the hell you wish. Yay for reading comprehension! I was doing what I wanted (within the confines of the law) and I was harrassed anyway. My pictures (the results of 3 hours of work) were deleted in violation of the 4th Amendment prohibition against unreasonable search and seizure, something that I would certainly consider a right. I suppose if I did nothing but work and watch sports on TV, I could have avoided the incident, but I certainly wouldn't want to live like that. |
