What the TA originally called them has no bearing on fact that they were called Redbirds later in life. It was incorrect for you to say that they are incorrectly called Redbirds."Redbird" is the name use by railfans. And if that was all who used it, then that would be fine, and would still make it a valid name. But unfortunately for you, the MTA also used the name. I'm not doing research on something that I'm not refuting and which doesn't pertain to the Sub-Thread. I have no reason to doubt you that they were originally called something else, but that has no bearing here. |
