Has nobody read the signals page at nycsubway.org?The signal in question is called a train order signal. If the white lights are showing, there are no orders, and the train can proceed normally. If the red lights are showing, the train should stop and stay, and the T/O should phone the number or location indicated (in this case, the Control Center) to receive orders. |
