An interesting story is that the train was supposed to go to salsbury plain,which is now in the middle of eisenhower park.as they were proceeding thru the golf course a very indignant golfer stopped them in their tracks& said that the RR does not run on a sunday&it was ruining his golf game,BACK UP!he was a local politician& the RR crew did not want to run afoul of him so they had to do as told. |
