TCRT retrofitted the cars with MU couplers and equipment in their Snelling Shops, I have a pic of SHRT 63, still with it's TCRT large diameter trolley wheel installed that was taken in Minneapolis. Trolley shoes with bronze shoes instead of carbon ones were installed at Kingbury Run shops of SHRT.

No Baltimore MU equipment was ever sold to Shaker. The Pullman All-Electric PCC cars came equipped for MU and lacking only couplers, having no front or rear skirts. WH MU couplers were added by TTC.

The ex-Louisville cars were made MU by TTC. Delivered to Louisville and Cleveland were as single units.
