More or less,the TA of that time was trying to improve its "image",so to speak..Starting with it rolling stock.Riders were still "use to" seeing those dirty grungy cars[there were plenty of 1/9's still around..along with the Q CARS..and the never been washed LAHT SMEE units]. |
