Structurally, it is as much a tunnel as any other dual contract cut-and-cover facility, albeit a short one. Beverley Road and Cortelyou Road are underpasses.And BUs operated in passengers service in the Centre Street Loop as late as 1928. That's quite a bit more tunnel. |
