On a recent run through the 60th street tube on the new N train, passengers were subjected to an endless series of intrusive automated announcements that lasted all the way from QBP to Lexington Ave. Things hit rock bottom when we were warned that it is unsafe to ride outside of the car. Duh!Once again I have to say this to the engineers of the world: Just because you know how to do something doesn't make it a good idea. |
