That was the scary part. I didn't like the flickering lights on them, even though that was a standard occurence on all pre-GOH laht and stainless steel/carbon steel mixed cars.

And you can still find this phenomenon in London on the C Stock - all those flat junctions make the lights flicker like a Christmas tree.
