Getting on a Slant 40 AA train at Columbus Circle in the summer of 1982, realizing two things when the doors closed...the heat was on for some reason, and the diarreah-smelling bum across from me was stinking up the whole car, and the heat was making it worse...as soon as I tried the end doors, which were BOTH locked, the train stopped in the tunnel for the longest 10 minutes of my life.

You had bad experience on those dreadful slants, I see. I think if that were me, I'd be scarred for "life".
