I believe it could..The 4TH AVENUE SUBWAY was built with this in mind..ehich is the reason for the extremely high ceilings from the Manhattan Bridge to 36th street[or as far as the STUBS BELLMOUTHS in the tunnel].. Also..I FINALLY got to see the UTICA AVENUE SUBWAY's STATION above the A/C Line on Fulton st..and the WORTH STREET PARTIAL STATION! Yeah Me! |
