Well, they could still run service on the "mainline" from Washington to Willow. Actually, since the Long Beach problem was at 5th St, they could run all the way to Anaheim St station, then relay south of the station (which was the regular service pattern before the Long Beach loop opened in September, 1990. Hopefully, they had a bus bridge from Washington to 7th/Metro (they probably just gave out block tickets or transfers at Anaheim (or Willow) to either the MTA 60 or Long Beach Transit) |
