Why should the 7 get R142s? What's wrong with the status quo?Nothing is wrong with the status quo. That's been the plan all along, to bring new-techs to the (7). Part of the reason they built the new Corona barn, and intend to implement CBTC there after they're done with the (L). Not to mention the MTA's request for funding to purchase "single" "B" cars to make 11-car sets for the (7) line. It WILL happen. It's only a matter of when. |
