Brian....no reason for me to see it, I already have it too, as well as an earlier version that did not have the 'split' that went eastward to what would be Starret City. That was a REALLY wacked-out idea (having the Canarsie turn left -- eastward -- after New Lots Ave). For that a totally new elevated ROW would have had to have been created just to do that. Made more sense to extend the #3 New Lots Avenue line south to Flatlands to serve Starret City and Spring Creek (which was also another aborted extension project from the drawing boards of 1968). |
