The subway is considered a necessary evil by most of its riders. Most subway commuters don't enjoy their commutes.Elevators (when they work) are useful to the people who use them, but they make up a tiny segment of the population. Escalators (when they work) are much more useful to the public at large, but where in the system has ADA been responsible for a new escalator installation? Perhaps there is one, but I can't think of a single such station. |
