And there should be no attempt now, before Brooklyn's subway lines have been overhauled and brought to a state of good repair. The MTA has made a lot of progress there but there's still more work to be done.That's might hold water if brooklyn's existing subways were in such a state of disrepair that they might become unsafe. As this is not the case, planners need to give foresight into how they might efficiently extend service to those areas. The fact that there is a useable ROW that would get you as far as Glenwood Road and Utica is something that should be considered. |
