The bizarre thing about the Botanic Garden station of the Franklin Shuttle is that it is not really that close to the actual entrance to the BBG. The station entrance/exit is located in the middle of the block on Eastern Parkway between Franklin and Washington Avenues. It is a two block walk (one of them being long) to get to the entrance of the BBG. To be honest, the Botanic Garden itself is actually closer to the Prospect Park Brighton station than the Franklin Shuttle BBG station. However, the entrance (to pay for admission to the BBG) is via the Washington Avenue entrance. |
