It's okay,really..The situation over there is bad now..and will get WORSE as time goes by,as more people move to the "suburban like" outlands of Brooklyn.. The bus lines out of Flatbush depot CANNOT handle the growing ridership..[the TA KNOWS THIS]..which is why they have looked at a stop gap measure called BRT...UNTIL funding is available for the UTICA AVENUE SUBWAY... Even South Jamaica is getting SOMETHING out of the AIRTRAIN deal..with its expaned commuter service via the LIRR,running subway like service levels from Valley Stream,Hollis and Queens Villiage to AND thur lower Manhattan! Demand is there..and when money is available,so will the new service. |
