It is a little on the crappy side. But having a few stations like this on a line with mostly identical mosaics helps break the monotony.Let's say you're headed downtown towards Whitehall from 34th St, all of the stations are renovated except City Hall and Rector but....Rector with it's rectangle-tiles looks like the outdated dump of the line with those tiles compared to City Hall which still kept some it's original design along the trackside walls. |
