and then have railfans talk about how that is sooo much better than everything else.


It goes way beyond railfans on that one. Historians, and average people also like the result such as the renovations on Broadway. Ask the majority of average passengers if they like Rector St better or 23rd St, Prince, 8th, etc better, and you will get an overall majority choosing 23rd, 28th, etc.

This is WAY beyond "railfans".
