There was also at one time a Hoboken-WTC rush hour express run, when the K class/MP52 cars (the last cars purchased by H&M before PATH took over) were still running. I guess it became impractical because of congestion along the route and the short run (only two stations were skipped, Pavonia and Exchange Place). In addition a lot of development took place in Jersey City at those two stops and the traveling patterns of PATH riders changed as a result. |
