Instead of the Hoboken Festival, shortly after Labor Day there will be a Liberty State Park Railroad Festival held at the old CRRofNJ Terminal in the Park that is accessible via HBLR + shuttle bus and/or use of Ferry from Battery Park. It's a pretty good show, with lots of layouts and an ample amount of dealers. Admission is usually $5.00 and the main waiting room is turned into a concert hall with a live band or two playing throughout the day.These shows have now included elements of the Hoboken Festival, but have been held over the years separately. |
